THE DETAILS, IN PLAIN WORDS
Know before
you join.
MyBaller is an independent multiplayer launcher for games. Its current library includes NBA 2K and NBA Street. The current private-server implementation targets NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20 on Windows. NBA Street Vol. 2, V3, and Homecourt appear in the launcher library, with Street titles still in development. The NBA Street Vol. 2 Rust rewrite is a separate open-source project. These notices explain the website and current launcher; community server access is a separate service.

Privacy notice
This website
The website code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration, contact forms, or persistent browser storage. Browsing this page does not sign you into the launcher or upload your game saves. The 3D scene and preview images load from the website itself.
The hosting provider can process your IP address, request information, and security logs to deliver and protect the website. A private preview host may also require its own account sign-in. Those providers apply their own privacy policies. Clicking a Discord button takes you to Discord, where Discord's privacy policy and terms apply.
The launcher and community servers
The launcher does process and store player information. It is not accurate to describe the entire MyBaller service as collecting or retaining no personal information.
- Discord access: the current sign-in flow requests your Discord account identity and membership information for the configured community server. It uses your Discord ID, display name, and roles to check access and issue a session. It does not request the Discord email permission or read your private messages.
- Player records: MyBaller can retain your Discord-linked account ID, chosen player name, access tier, first and last activity, and moderation status.
- Game data: linked career saves, MyPLAYER builds, progression, virtual balances, inventory, stats, and friend relationships or invites can be stored on your PC and, when you connect, on the community server.
- Local settings: the launcher keeps preferences and build drafts in browser storage, and can save the selected game's executable path and launcher settings locally.
- Operational records: authentication, connection, moderation, and diagnostic logs can contain account identifiers, names, IP addresses, and game request details. Diagnostic capture settings can record additional game traffic.
How information is used
Player information is used for sign-in, server eligibility, saves and progression, friends and invites, moderation, troubleshooting, and running the community service. MyBaller does not sell player information or use it for advertising. Authorized server operators and moderators can access records needed for those tasks. Some information, such as your player name, presence, and game stats, may be visible to other players through community features.
Discord processes sign-in and community interactions. Where optional supporter roles are enabled through Patreon, the gate can process the associated Discord ID and membership or tier status; payment details are handled by the payment provider. Separately operated servers can have their own practices. Ask that server's operator before connecting.
Retention, requests, and security
The inspected implementation does not establish a universal automatic deletion schedule. Player records and saves can remain until a server operator removes them; logs rotate where configured, and backups can retain older data. Do not assume that uninstalling the launcher deletes server records.
For an access, correction, or deletion request, contact the MyBaller maintainers through the linked Discord server. Include only the account identifier needed to locate your record. Do not send passwords, access tokens, recovery codes, or payment details. The operator will need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, disputes, or applicable legal obligations.
Sign-in uses Discord's authorization flow. MyBaller does not ask for your Discord password. Security controls reduce risk, but no software or service can promise perfect security. Report suspected account misuse or a security issue privately to the maintainers.
Safe-use guide
- Bring your own authorized game. Use lawfully obtained game software or assets and a compatible setup for the relevant title. Requirements for the NBA Street Rust rewrite will be documented with its release. MyBaller does not provide a game license, game download, or permission to use someone else's protected content.
- Back up first. Keep separate backups of your game executable and career saves before connecting the launcher. Keep the original executable backup created by patching.
- Understand the changes. Setup and Join can modify your local game's connection and certificate data so it talks to MyBaller's bridge. Some setups require trusting a bridge certificate in Windows. Review that change and its removal instructions before approving it; keep private keys and server secrets private.
- Use community releases. Obtain the launcher and setup instructions through the Discord invite linked on this site. Confirm the release with maintainers if in doubt. Do not share session tokens, secret keys, or unreviewed reuploads.
- Keep it to authorized community play. Use only servers you are permitted to access. Do not use the project to evade licensing, access restrictions, security controls, or anti-cheat, or to interfere with official services or other players. Follow the game license, platform terms, community rules, and applicable law.
- Expect development limits. Supported flows vary by game, build, and server configuration. Some multiplayer and server-only scenarios still need live-client testing. Compatibility, continuous availability, and preservation of saves are not guaranteed.
- Protect your accounts. Sign in only through Discord's own authorization page. MyBaller staff should not need your password or recovery codes. Review permission prompts and contact moderators if something looks unfamiliar.
MyBaller's community virtual currency and progression are separate from official services. They are not an official purchase, cash balance, or promise of value on 2K's systems.
